Review for Wanted for Murder!
I really enjoyed the poetry and the layout of the book. The titles, subjects, and order of the poems make it evident that Hall's idea of poetry is like explaining a piece of life. The poem "Murphy's Law" was one of my favorite by Christopher. I also like the fact that he worked with another poet, especially on the poem entitled, "Bonnie and Clyde", it was sort of like a poetical duet, and duet are always refreshing. The new poet Takyrica Cobbs, brought a nice mix to Christopher's work with her strong feminine side that came through on paper as well as the softness that any young woman can relate too.

Chris Hall's talent is extraordinary as demonstrated in his 3rd poetry book and I must say I enjoyed ATC2 more than Wanted for Murder! His poetry has a distinct, unique rhythm and he expounds on his favorite themes (love, faith and family) with authority. I loved his use of pop culture reference in poems like "Dream Girl" and "Love & Basketball." The poem "In Love" very much reminded me of my husband and me. I was delighted with the imagery of "Poetry Girl" and the personification of coffee in "Coffee House Confessions." Poetry is often very personal, and Chris often mentions its importance to him and the need to express himself. There were also some brutal portraits of himself, especially in "Psychological Thriller," and in many other poems in which he acknowledges his faults and pain from failed relationships. There is so much honesty and complexity that make reading this collection of poems an intensely worthwhile experience.

"Wanted For Murder was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I was at the book store with my friend. She was looking for a book and while she was, Wanted for Murder just jumped out at me. As soon as I started reading, I couldn't stop! All of the poems in it were so inspirational. They actually said something to you and they had meaning. Pick up this book!! ---H. Harper

Review for Wanted for Murder!
Wanted for Murder! is an intense and intelligent collection of poems from a very talented young writer. Hall explores many facets of human emotion but I found his most prolific poems to be the ones about love. I especially liked the tribute in the back to his son, who is obviously a huge inspiration to him. The original artwork and the photography is great and the format is captivating. Considering I'm not a regular reader of poetry, having exhausted my appreciation for it in college, I found Hall's poems to be fresh and engaging.

Wanted For Murder is the best poetry book that I have read in my life! This is NOT an exaggeration! Chris Hall's style of New Age Urban Poetry is refreshing, intriguing & original. I've heard rumors of a Wanted for Murder Too! I don't know how true that is but I hope that it's true. - K. Kolbert
